Programme

The Curriculum

In conjunction with the programme partners, ENTIQ designed the curriculum to explore the key challenges for female founders seeking funding.

The selection criteria for the programme focused on product (or service) viability, USP and strength of the founder’s experience. Out of a healthy range of applications, 10 were selected for the first Fin4Fem cohort.

It was no easy task to pick the final group. The selection represented a good spread of industry focus and target financing. Importantly, all the applications had to contain an element of technology within their business.

The companies chosen ranged in industry focus from FinTech (with crowdfunding and alternative financing models), to mobile apps to help you stop smoking and beautiful connected furniture.

From early stage discussions with our stakeholders, we highlighted some key areas where support and guidance might aid the founders.

These areas covered subjects such a business development and growth strategies, storytelling and pitch practice sessions.
